Magic Books By Bill Tarr

Bill Tarr died in 2006, at age 81, of Parkinson’s disease. He was an accomplished sculptor and magician. Bill Tarr had been interested in magic since he was 10 years old. Tarr wrote three very popular magic books that remain classics today.

Written in the seventies, prior to video and DVD, these magic books gave people step-by-step instructions and illustrations that allowed them to perform magic tricks easily and flawlessly. In one of his three magic books, "101 Easy-To-Do Magic Tricks", Bill Tarr wrote ten pages of frequently asked questions and answers to help beginners understand magic. His questions were direct. His answers were clear and concise.

Easy Explanation Of Magic Tricks

Bill Tarr explained every step of his magic tricks in depth. According to some reviews, buying and learning from one of his magic books was comparable to having a private teacher. Although increased technology in video and DVD instruction have made learning magic easier, these magic books remain relevant.

Magic books are a great alternative to video or DVD because you can read them anywhere and often cost less. These books are also very convenient. In short, Bill Tarr’s magic books provide excellent instructions for beginners and make a great place to start learning magic.

Children who are interested in magic should be given magic books as an alternative to magic videos or magic DVDs, encouraging them to read and understand the craft. WizardsApprentice.com offers two of Bill Tarr’s books, as well as many other magic books for beginners to advanced magicians.
